These documents were issued by land agencies in 1958 when Bereleigh Estate was put up for sale by the direction of Lt-Col Gerald H. Nicholson. Bereleigh House stands in timbered grounds of 22 acres. The estate included Tigwell Farm, occupied by Mr H. Bone, plus four cottages (A.Rutter, Mrs H.Dean, A.Joy), Park Farm, and three cottages (Mrs. Hatchell, W.K.Blackburn) West Lodge, Johnson’s Cottage (N.Patrick), Bereleigh Cottage H.Worte) East Lodge (A.Pullenger), Sunnyside, now Glebe House (Dr H.C.Clifford), Hyde Cottages (G.Monday, C.Kille), Petersfield Lodge (E.Swain)
