Originally a sub-manor of East Meon, the history of Bereleigh is recorded from the 14th century. It is now the only one of the original East Meon manors still to be privately owned, by Bill Tyrwhitt Drake.
This page carries extracts relating to Bereleigh from the Victoria County History and from F.G.Standfield’s ‘A History of East Meon’.
