Denys and Rosemary Ryder have been leading lights in the life of East Meon for six decades. They restored the decayed buildings of Frogmore Mill, which are now the house in which they live. Denys was editor of Meon Matters for five years and created the area of the History website, click here, which contains an archive of the parish magazine.
Denys has collected a large number of village memorabilia, much of which has been donated to the History Group; in separate pages under this section we have displayed digital images from his collection, whilst black and white prints of the photographs are filed in albums relevant to the subjects they illustrate.
We have recorded an Oral History interview with Denys, whose transcript is attached as a PDF.
