The Woodfields lived in East Meon from 1940, when they left London and Ralph taught at Churchers College in Petersfield. They lived in The Tudor House (click here) until 1960 when Ralph Woodfield retired. Olivia Woodfield, now Tottle, now lives in Petersfield and her memories of East Meon and The Tudor House are recorded here.
Attached as a PDF is an account of recent visits by the Woodfield family, and of Olivia Tottle’s memories of East Meon in the 1940s and ’50s
Another PDF is a transcript of an interview with Olivia.
