These photographs, from the album discovered in the office of Ye Olde George Inn, show the village bedecked in bunting to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, in June 2nd, 1953. Others show the crowds gathering on the Recreation Ground, in preparation for the procession down the High Street.
