All Saints from above
All Saints Church seen from Park Hill in an engraving made in the second half of the 19th century. The house to the east of the church now appears to be smaller than in the previous etching.
Almshouses had been built on the eastern side of Church Street in 1904. No cottage in church yard, and the rifle range had been built at the institute (top left) so post 1918.
